This establishment is one of the few good bars left in this area. Down the road a way, Waldo has for the most part turned into an overglossed pit of striped shirts and iphones. Enjoy the corner as an escape to normalcy where drinks priced for the everyman and the conversaiton usually drowns out the music.

It's a safe bet that the St. Pat's decorations are at least from the Corner's first St. Patrick's Day back in 1979.

We had pinball once upon a time...my dad would let my sister and I play it for hours on Saturdays after we helped clean up the kitchen and haul off empty beer cases (perhaps that's how he kept overhead low). I'm currently lobbying for Dad to get trivia and a foosball table, but I'll let you know if we ever bring the pinball back.
